My Life
My Life -
Life is like a taxi. The meter just keeps a-ticking whether you are getting somewhere or just standing still. Live life like you're going to die today, dream like your going to live forever. And above all life is not just all about achieving and getting things that you want,it is all about how much that you can give to the others with your heart and most importantly life's not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain!

I like the way you think, but isn't it that deep down we all shift from this frame of thinking to something else- something more selfish?
yeah thats absolutely right.
If u live only for urself u r always an immediate danger of being bored to death with the repetition of ur own views and interests. No 1 has learned d meaning of living until he has surrendered his ego 2 the service of his fellowmen.
If u think only of urself, if u forget d rights and well-being of othrs or worse still, if u exploit othrs, ultimately you will lose.
You will have no friends who will show concern for your well-being. Moreover, if a tragedy befalls you, instead of feeling concerned, othrs might even secretly rejoice. By contrast, if an individual is compassionate and altruistic, and has the interests of others in mind, then irrespective of whether that person knows a lot of people, wherever that person moves, he or she will immediately make friends. And when that person faces a tragedy, there will be plenty of people who will come to help.
We all have been a selfish being all our life, in practice, though not in principle.
